You’ve asked, and we’ve listened - Azure DevOps for Roadmunk is finally here! No more wrangling with CSV exports and imports to get project information into a roadmap. Long gone are the days of exploring API documentation, evaluating if you have what it takes to build the connection yourself. It’s time to celebrate that the tools you use and love can become better acquainted (and integrated)!
With the Azure DevOps integration, you can seamlessly sync data between projects and roadmaps, eliminating the need for manual data entry and maintaining information in two places. With both 1- and 2-way sync support, remove the guesswork when determining the source of truth, and always be up to date with the latest information.
It’s intuitive and simple to get started - and the integration only needs to be set up one time! Here’s a quick rundown of how to create the integration and begin syncing projects into roadmaps (or watch how to do this here!):
- In Account Settings head to the “Integrations” tab and click “Add an integration”. Select “Azure DevOps”, and enter your server information. Note: only Account Administrators can complete this step.
- In a new or existing roadmap, click the Integrations icon in the top right navigation. Enter valid Azure DevOps credentials, determine your sync settings, select the desired project, and choose what important details will accompany your roadmap.
- After clicking “Let’s Go!”, the roadmap will begin its first sync and your work items and custom fields will trickle into a beautiful roadmap in minutes. Easy peasy.
We’re confident that integrating your roadmap with Azure DevOps will help automate and expedite your current roadmapping processes, and empower you to capture a holistic view of your work in a centralized roadmap.
